Vista Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Long Island City, New York.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient family practice setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong clinical background, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate referrals as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice or primary care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
