Job Summary:

Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Department of Surgery seeks a Surgical Oncologist to join its Division of Surgical Oncology in the section of GI Surgical Oncology.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and surgical services in the field of surgical oncology.
  • Participate in the education and training of residents and students in the field of surgical oncology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and research programs in the field of surgical oncology.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the Department of Surgery.
Requirements:
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery.
  • Completed an approved surgical oncology or hepatobiliary fellowship.
  • Experience in minimally invasive approaches to liver, pancreas, gastric, and esophageal malignancies.
  • Interest in cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
