Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed.
  • Assess patient condition and develop an action plan for performing examinations.
  • Verify patient identity and obtain relevant medical history.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
