Resident Engineer for I&C Systems

This individual will provide regular in-person oversight and support for the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C)/Ops Training Simulator supplier, based out of Idaho Falls, ID. The resident engineer will report to the Instrumentation and Controls/Electrical (I&CE) Senior Manager as part of the Natrium Plant Delivery department.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversight of a Natrium I&C Systems vendor including budgeting, staffing, planning, and monitoring design development progress.
  • Review I&C system design work documents covering design, integration, and implementation of software work products and other system design documents for Natrium nuclear demo plant.
  • Identify critical high-risk areas and initiate proactive measures to prevent potential project delay.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of design/project management experience working on large utility grade projects, preferably in the nuclear industry.
