Job Summary

VHC Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehab Unit team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and functionality after illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement occupation-based intervention plans to facilitate change or growth in client factors and skills.
  • Provide occupational therapy services for habilitation, rehabilitation, and promotion of health and wellness for clients with disability- and non–disability-related needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions and improve care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in occupational therapy preferred.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
  • BLS Certification required.
