Truck and Diesel Engine Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Truck and Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at BURNCO LLC. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing daily inspections to diagnose malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair diesel engines, as well as other machinery and equipment
  2. Daily Inspections: Perform daily visual inspections of machinery and equipment while diagnosing sounds to determine malfunctions
  3. Compliance: Comply with BURNCO policies and local, state, and federal regulations including DOT and company driving requirements
  4. Communication: Communicate timely and effectively with Plant Coordinator and Production Supervisor to inform them about major mechanical problems
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of mechanics as related to truck and general maintenance
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Licensing: Commercial Driver's License with Class A or B Certification preferred
