At Atrium Health Charlotte, we are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a radiology technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the radiologist.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a successful completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
  • Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
  • Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
  • Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
  • Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
