Position Overview

The role involves delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, and overseeing clinical courses in the field of Surgical Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Surgical Technology Coordinator in the instruction of all program-related courses, including lectures, practical labs, and clinical experiences as required.

  • Collaborate with the Coordinator to prepare and present course materials that meet program objectives.
  • Assess and grade student assignments, lab activities, and clinical performance. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Coordinator.
  • Participate in adjunct training sessions offered by Rhodes State College.
Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability to various teaching methods.

Preferred:

  • Experience in both traditional and online instructional environments.
Educational Requirements

Required:

  • Current Certification in Surgical Technology (CST).

Preferred:

  • An Associate Degree in a relevant field.
