Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at The Friedkin Group. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state income and franchise tax returns for all affiliated companies.
- Conduct financial analysis and research to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate and coordinate with accounting personnel to resolve any questions or issues that arise.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly taxable income estimates and year-end basis calculations.
- Research and resolve taxation issues related to various entities and shareholders.
- Assist in the review of categorization and coordination of unique transactions.
- Correspond with tax authorities concerning notices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply common sense and analytical skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress towards passing the exam is preferred.
