About the Position

At Northern Light Health, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as an Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist in Bangor. This role is a critical part of our Primary Care department, providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled RN with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as experience working in an ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop personalized care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments, and document all interventions and outcomes in patient records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Certified or eligible to become certified as a registered nurse (RN).
  • Experience working in an ambulatory care setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • BLS certification required.

Estimated Salary Range
