This is a salaried position, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the Maintenance and Grounds operations, assigning tasks across all shifts, and executing projects as directed by the Facilities Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma is mandatory.
- A minimum of five years in a supervisory or managerial role is essential, ideally within casino engineering.
- Journeyman status or equivalent in at least one trade for a minimum of five years, or a solid understanding of multiple technical fields is required.
- Experience with HVAC & R systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in scheduling, management, administration, and computer skills is highly desirable.
The qualifications listed below are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this role:
- Experience in overseeing design, development, and construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage renovation projects and coordinate with various contractors.
- Capability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing sectors.
- Aptitude for identifying problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in both mathematical and diagrammatic formats.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and promote teamwork.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Capability to manage various abstract and concrete variables.
- Understanding of the operations and development of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, gas, and plumbing.
