Plant Maintenance Specialist

At Vulcan Materials Company, we are committed to building a better future for our communities and our employees. As a Plant Fixed Maintenance professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our construction aggregates and materials production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
- Inspect equipment and structures to ensure safe and reliable operations, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and review plant processes and materials to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document and record maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Perform general physical activities, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
- Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles and practices is preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, and to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to tolerate loud noises and exposure to hazardous materials.
