We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Brien Center for Mental Health. As a Community Behavioral Health Center Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing mental health/substance abuse treatment to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct diagnostic mental health/substance abuse assessments and provide evidence-based treatment to clients.
- Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, completing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the CBHC team to plan and implement treatment, coordinate care, and provide consultation to community agencies as needed.
- Client Care: Provide 24-48 hour access to care, participate in centralized scheduling, and deliver treatment in person or via Telehealth based on clinical need and client choice.
- Education: Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other clinical concentration required.
- Licensure: LCSW, LICSW, LMHC required within 6 months of eligibility date.
- Skills: Diagnostic and treatment knowledge and skill, extensive knowledge of mental health/substance abuse treatment, intervention, and education, and experience in providing individual and group mental health/substance abuse and family counseling.
- Work Environment: Works in office; temperature regulated.
- Schedule: Schedule may include evening and weekend hours.
