Job Summary:

The APRN Midwife will provide advanced practice nursing care to women in an ambulatory setting, including ordering diagnostic tests and managing minor complications. This role will also provide inpatient obstetrical care for essentially healthy women, including labor management, delivery of infant, repair of lacerations/episiotomy, and management of minor complications. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Science, Nursing, or a specialty field, and be certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a designated specialty.

Responsibilities:

* Provide primary care in an ambulatory setting to women, including ordering diagnostic tests and managing minor complications.
* Provide inpatient obstetrical care for essentially healthy women, including labor management, delivery of infant, repair of lacerations/episiotomy, and management of minor complications.
* Work collaboratively with perinatologists, OB/GYN, and Family Practice physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Science, Nursing, or a specialty field.
* Current License as RN in Ohio, certified as Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty, and holds current Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
* Hold current certificate to prescribe (CTP) or eligible for certificate to prescribe externship (CTP-E) from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
* BLS provider certification and DEA license.
