Job Summary

To support the Finance/Accounting department in daily and monthly responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter divisional vouchers and review requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness, appropriateness, and conformity to policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
  • Record and maintain sales and use tax documentation
  • Month-end close
  • Assist with billing
  • Support Accounts Receivable collection efforts
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts
  • Maintain a paperless environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • US Citizenship
  • Associate degree in accounting or work experience equivalent
  • Experience in Accounts Payable
  • Familiarity of accounting debits/credits
  • Skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for errors
  • Must have excellent work habits and flexibility to conduct deadlines in a timely manner while maintaining accurate, swift, and reliable data entry especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
  • History of working in a paperless environment
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
