Position Overview

We are currently seeking a 1st shift (PRN) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role involves a commitment of 16 hours within a 30-day schedule. The starting pay for this position is $14.00 per hour, with an incremental increase of $0.25 for each year of relevant experience, capped at 15 years. Additional compensation includes a $4.00/hour differential for 2nd shift, $1.50/hour for weekends, and double-time pay for holidays worked.

At Christian Care Retirement Community, we consider it a privilege to care for our seniors during their golden years. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing for 36 hours per pay period. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and incontinence care, as required.

The CNA will also be responsible for serving nutritious meals, escorting residents to various activities and appointments, and monitoring their overall health status. Strong communication skills are essential, as the CNA will need to attentively listen to residents' concerns, respond promptly to requests for assistance, and maintain accurate records in charts and caregiver logs.

This position requires an individual who can effectively prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain composure in emergency situations. Above all, we seek someone with a genuine caring nature who will treat our residents with the dignity and respect they deserve. The CNA will be a vital presence in our residents' daily lives, so compassion and patience are crucial attributes.
