Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CEI Construction Services Inspector to join our team in Okeechobee, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting construction work, conducting field tests, and ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction work and conduct field tests to ensure compliance with contract documents
  • Assist Senior CEI Inspector in the performance of their duties and review work while in progress
  • Conduct construction inspections of roadway and bridge construction
  • Monitor on-site construction activities
  • Conduct inspections, observations, and run materials tests to check construction work
  • Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)

Qualifications

  • High School + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nuclear Radiation Safety
  • FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I
  • 2 years construction inspection, 1 year of which shall have been in roadway and/or bridge construction inspection
