Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patrons and take drink orders directly from them.
  • Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with alcohol purchase regulations.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and other bar drinks as requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
  • Uphold a sanitary environment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Restock and manage bar inventory and supplies effectively.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage safety standards.
  • Handle guest transactions accurately, including processing bills and managing cash register operations.
  • Implement rules and guidelines to minimize risks and liabilities.
  • Develop a productive work pace to ensure guest satisfaction in both the bar and dining areas.
  • Organize bottles and clean glassware as required.
  • Understand local laws regarding identification and drinking age to prevent issues.
  • Monitor guest consumption to prevent overindulgence and ensure responsible service.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Experience and Knowledge:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service and bartending in a busy setting is preferred.
  • Possession of an ABC license is required.
  • A valid Food Handlers Permit is mandatory.
