Key Responsibilities:- Support healthcare providers during patient consultations, including measuring vital signs and conducting point-of-care tests.
- Administer medications as per physician directives and ensure accurate medication reconciliation.
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow up on missed visits, and monitor hospital discharge processes.
- Handle incoming calls, communicate messages to healthcare providers, and address patient inquiries.
- Secure prior authorizations from insurance providers for necessary medications and services.
- Assist in training new employees and students, and facilitate referrals to community resources.
- Maintain precise patient documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Pursue opportunities for professional development and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and uphold a positive approach to patient care.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Possess a solid understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate computer proficiency.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited LPN program and hold a valid Illinois license. CPR certification is mandatory. Experience in ambulatory care is preferred.
Physical Requirements:This role involves light physical activity with non-strenuous daily tasks. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Work Schedule:The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, unless otherwise indicated. Compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations is essential.
