Data Management Expert for Joint Cyber Defense

About the Role

This position will support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in the Joint Force Headquarters DODIN, providing network operations and cyber defense support to the DoD and COCOMs. The selected candidate shall execute in real time, ensuring authorized mission partners have visibility and usability of proper operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Knowledge Management across all directorates, domains - people, processes, and tools.
  • Translate operational requirements into logical and integrated technical solutions, advising staff members on holistic methodologies.
  • Design, document, and orchestrate doctrinally sound processes to support mission requirements.
  • Provide moderate technical expertise, oversight, and control in communications, time management, quality assurance, quality control, and risk management.
  • Schedule changes with government leads, ensuring priorities meet overall improvement across the knowledge management environment.
  • Implement change management, tracking policy and procedures updates as needed to address change requests and application defects.
  • Develop Program and Project Management Plans that identify management strategies and goals. These plans will be revised and updated based on changing priorities and environments.
  • Maintain and sustain JFHQ-DODIN knowledge management environments, implementing enhancements prioritized through the Knowledge Management Working Group.
  • Support ad-hoc requests, facilitating battle rhythm events, and capturing minutes as required.
  • Process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from higher headquarters or through the task management system.
  • Support Records Management efforts, developing metadata tagging and structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience or master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for C/I Polygraph.
  • Experience at Joint Command and/or Operations Center.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of policy development and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of key network monitoring protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service leadership.

Salary Range

$89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The salary range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable bargaining agreement.
