About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's AT&T Federal law enforcement sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Redhat Linux systems, including system administration and basic networking tasks.
  • Manage Cisco R/S and other core R/S devices, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement Linux scripting solutions to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with labs to analyze network configurations and optimize performance.
  • Assign and manage VLANs, including production, management, and backup VLANs.
  • Obtain IP addresses and request DNS entries.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure and server requirements.
  • Communication skills to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Windows, VM/ESXI, Avamar, Data Domain, Pure Storage Arrays, and NetApp.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA certification.
