Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Golf Course Attendant to join our team at the Ballwin Golf Course & Events Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cash registers, computer systems, and credit card machines with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with program registration, resident ID card sales, and facility usage
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Enforce building policies and departmental/City rules and regulations
  • Monitor golf course conditions and pace of play

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week, especially during peak seasons
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends, including weekends
  • Must be able to handle large sums of money and maintain accurate records
  • Current driver's license

Working Conditions:

The Golf Course Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with the public, and handling cash and credit transactions. The ability to work independently and efficiently is essential, as is the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with departmental staff, other city staff, and the general public.
