We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Technician to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and other clinical tasks as needed.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide Training Program or proof of current certification.
- Practically no experience required, with a three to six month learning period.
This role requires a sedentary/light effort, with little or no manual skills/motor coordination or finger dexterity required. The working environment is generally pleasant, with little or no potential for occupational risk.
