We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at AdventHealth La Grange. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PACU, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the physician and other healthcare team members.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN program.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing.
- Previous PACU or critical care experience preferred.
