Job Title: Consumer Litigation Representative

Westlake Services is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Litigation Representative to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for handling all phases of pursuing deficiency balances on defaulted accounts through charge off and post-charge off.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and negotiate with dealerships, account managers, and area managers to recover deficiency balances.
  • Work with the remarketing team to manage and liquidate collateral when applicable.
  • Collaborate with internal legal and outside attorney firms on litigation and civil lawsuits.
  • Prepare legal documents, including complaints, default judgment packages, and demand letters.
  • Run and create reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in B2B collections and/or legal collections.
  • Previous experience in auto finance is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to maintain and follow-up on payment schedules.
