Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in the delivery of patient care, working closely with our radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering radiation treatments and monitoring patients for side effects
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in radiation oncology
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- One year of experience in radiation oncology or a related field preferred
- Current RN license required; current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
