Pediatric Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Seven Hills Pediatric Center at Hopedale. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to children with special needs in a quiet and laid-back home-like environment.

Responsibilities:

Assess and coordinate healthcare services for Program Manager.
Institute appropriate follow-up and communicate all medical issues to the program Residential Registered Nurse and any other appropriate Seven Hills Pediatric Center at Hopedale staff members.
Assist individuals in designated programs to their medical appointments and with transportation as recommended by the Program Manager, Registered Nurse, or the Nurse Practitioner.
Document all nursing interventions and changes affecting the children in appropriate areas.
Review the plans of care for current knowledge of programming as required by the Department of Children and Families and/or other agencies.
Maintain current medication and treatment orders noting any side effects and/or adverse effects and report to appropriate individuals: MD, NP, Program Manager or program Residential RN, and other designated Seven Hills Pediatric Center at Hopedale staff.

Qualifications:

LPN Nurse with current Massachusetts license.
One year of experience working with medically fragile children.
Valid driver's license required.
