Table Games Dealer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Table Games Dealer to join our team at Hollywood Casino Morgantown. As a Table Games Dealer, you will be responsible for dealing and conducting table game play while maintaining a professional and integrity-driven atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal and conduct table game play in accordance with established rules and regulations.
  • Ensure gaming activity is conducted in a secure and efficient manner, minimizing potential theft.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
  • Monitor casino gaming activity to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, and workforce strength and compliance goals.
  • Set high expectations and provide positive examples to ensure a fun, exciting, and professional working environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to deal table games offered by the casino.
  • Reconcile potential conflicts with guests regarding rules and conduct of game play.
  • Conduct game protection, including identification of potential card counters, game accuracy, and pace of table game play.
  • Perform duties outside of normal job description as necessary for efficiency, productivity, or improved guest services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and successful completion of additional games as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in casino or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in dealing table games as offered for play in the casino.
  • General knowledge of table games rules and regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and guests.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Basic computer knowledge; competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Physical Demands:
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Standing/Walking 85% of the time.
  • Bending and lifting 15% of the time.
  • Lifting/moving maximum of 25 lbs.

This is a smoking environment in guest areas and a non-smoking, with the exception of designated areas, employee environment. High Noise Level.
