About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Renal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Innovative Renal Care (IRC) team, you will play a vital role in educating patients on how to perform their dialysis treatments at home.

Responsibilities
  • Educating prospective patients on the benefits and comfort of home dialysis modality.
  • Training patients on their chosen home dialysis modality, including peritoneal or home hemodialysis.
  • Collaborating with Nephrologists to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's needs.
  • Providing educational workshops to keep the team up-to-date on the latest technologies and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and lab results to ensure the safety and success of their chosen modality.

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • At least 12 months of experience in nursing, with an additional 3 months of experience in a specific modality.
  • Valid Driver's License or reliable transportation.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or three-year diploma from an accredited program.
