About the Role

Katalyst Systems Impact LLC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support their fast-paced office with civil litigation, real estate, construction, and creditors' rights matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the legal team, including document preparation, research, and filing.
  • Assist with case management, including calendaring, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, laws, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to support the legal team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation, real estate, or construction.
  • Excellent attention to detail, writing, and research skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe, with experience in case management software a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-filing, billable hours, and local court/jurisdiction rules and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Law firm experience and/or legal education.
  • Previous experience with e-filing, particularly in Kansas and Missouri.
  • Experience working in litigation, civil, and business litigation, and real estate.
  • Knowledge of law office procedures and local court/jurisdiction rules and procedures.
