Job Overview

Compensation: $16.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

We are in search of a skilled technician to assist in maintaining our 168-unit apartment community. As a Service Technician I, your primary responsibility will be to transform vacant units into welcoming homes for new residents. You will also oversee the general maintenance of the property grounds and shared spaces. If you take pride in completing tasks effectively, consider this opportunity with a company that emphasizes collaboration and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Following a checklist to ensure vacant apartments are ready for occupancy.
  • Inspecting the property grounds and communal areas, including litter collection.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as directed by the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in an apartment community, commercial property, or single-family homes.
  • Must fulfill all physical demands and be able to follow instructions.
  • Capability to comprehend verbal and written directives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Availability for weekend work as needed; on-call duties on a rotating schedule for emergencies.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm; weekend work as needed; on-call for emergencies on a rotating basis.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License in the applicable state or willingness to obtain one within 60 days.
