Position Summary

The General Cleaner is responsible for executing cleaning tasks as specified in the agreement between the organization and the client. This role includes reporting any issues or unusual activities to the designated supervisor or manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispose of trash and recycling materials.
  • Dust, wipe, and perform spot cleaning on all surfaces.
  • Vacuum, mop, and wet mop assigned areas.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms using disinfectants and bathroom cleaning agents, restock supplies as necessary, remove waste, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and sweep or wet mop floors.
  • Ensure all lights are turned on/off and that appropriate doors are secured when exiting an area.
  • Maintain closets in a clean, organized manner.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Reliable transportation is essential for consistent attendance. Candidates must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the role. A background check and drug screening are required as per contractual obligations.
