Carpenter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Five Star Painting. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining various wooden structures and fixtures.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project plans.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and molding.
• Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
• Estimate and procure materials required for each project and manage inventory accordingly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to complete projects within specified timelines and budget constraints.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and address any concerns or inquiries.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a similar construction environment.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent measurement and mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training is a plus.
