As the Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage Operations, you will oversee a designated outlet and manage daily operations during your shifts.
Your responsibilities include supporting and managing operational objectives, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring profitability.
You'll create effective schedules while controlling labor costs, meeting staffing needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Assist in the budgeting process for the department, providing insights and ensuring adherence to budgetary goals while addressing any concerns with management.
Knowledge of applicable gaming laws and regulations is essential, as you will ensure compliance within the Food & Beverage Department.
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Outlet Manager to guarantee a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Maintain cost control measures by monitoring inventory and pars.
Support the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report any potential issues to management.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all departmental and company matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
A degree in a related field (Associates preferred) and two years of relevant experience in Food and Beverage, or a combination of education and experience, is required.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with guests and staff, resolving conflicts diplomatically.
Mathematical skills are essential for managing budgets and inventory.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, is necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders is crucial.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster staff development and training initiatives.
Implement a rewards and recognition program to enhance employee engagement.
Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Assist in staffing recommendations, including interviewing and hiring processes.
Manage workflow and procedures to optimize efficiency.
Provide input on employee performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
