Job Overview
The Medina County District Library is seeking a friendly and energetic individual to sort, shelve, and process library materials. This role involves assisting with clerical, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks as well as setting up and tearing down programs and displays as assigned.

About the Role
This part-time position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to read spreadsheets, search the library for materials, and accurately shelve materials numerically and alphabetically.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess the ability to communicate effectively, interact appropriately with patrons, staff, and vendors, and be a team player. They should also have the aptitude for detailed work and be able to follow both written and oral instructions. Working conditions involve standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving materials by hand or on carts. Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs repetitively, with or without accommodation. Ability to use office equipment. Estimated salary: $12-$15 per hour.
