Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Concentra's onsite employee wellness clinic in Springfield, OH. As a per diem Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to our mission of improving the health of America's workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and protocols.
  • Observe and evaluate patient condition, record reactions to drugs and treatments, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
  • Direct nursing care through nursing staff, prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment, and arrange referrals and consultations.
  • Draw blood, prepare paperwork for laboratory pick-up, and perform urine drug screens with proper chain of custody.
  • Assist in medical record maintenance, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information, and dispense medications as directed by practitioner.
  • Maintain and operate clinical equipment, perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in nursing, physician assistant studies, or related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensed nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant in Ohio.
  • Maintain state licensure and DEA throughout the course of employment.
  • Preferrably has at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

  • Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information, including HIPAA and PHI, in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
