We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with neurological disorders.
About the Role:The Neuro ICU is a 12-bed Critical Care Unit that provides comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, cerebral edema, and abnormal electrical activity of the brain. Our team works together to provide individualized care to each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest technology to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process
- Coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote clinical outcomes
- Participate in interdisciplinary care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient goals
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex needs
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to interventions and adjust care plans as needed
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Educational Requirements: Associates Degree
- Minimum Experience: One year of experience as a professional RN
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications: National certification in clinical specialty
- Preferred Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Preferred Experience: Long Term Care: One year experience
