Galaxy Technologies is seeking a skilled Master Gardener to join our team at the Willich I Correctional Facility.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Master Gardener to manage labor administration facilities in correctional facilities, instruct prisoners in work, and train them in various trades. As a civil servant in the Works Department, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance work on work equipment, machinery, and technical facilities within the facility as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage labor administration facilities in correctional facilities, instruct prisoners in work, and train them in various trades.
- Perform repair and maintenance work on work equipment, machinery, and technical facilities within the facility as needed.
- Work in close cooperation with specialist services, including psychologists, doctors, educators, and chaplains, to ensure that adult and juvenile prisoners live together responsibly and orderly during their incarceration.
- Manage facilities according to business and professional principles, working in all work areas according to customer-oriented guidelines regarding quality, performance, and product.
- Ensure that prisoners receive job-oriented training and further education in the work and training facilities, such as carpentry, locksmithing, etc.
- Through your care, treatment, provision, and supervision, ensure that prisoners lead a life without further criminal offenses and take social responsibility even after their release from prison.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Master Gardener with a strong background in horticulture and GaLaBau. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
