Job Title: Arcade/Bowling Technician

Round1 Entertainment is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Arcade/Bowling Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of arcade games and bowling machines. This includes analyzing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the overall quality of our entertainment equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer complaints and analyze technical issues to find solutions.
  • Assist the Facility Manager with the installation, maintenance, and repair of arcade games and bowling machines.
  • Identify and resolve common problems with controls and audio systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Keep a clean and organized workshop.
  • Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
Requirements:
  • Two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
Work Environment:

The Technician will work in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity. The noise level is usually loud.

Physical Demands:
  • Bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and high mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods without breaks.
  • Using hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance.
