About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Crew Member at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering unparalleled hospitality to our customers, preparing and serving fresh food and smoothies, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers using our unique 'Tropitude' approach, ensuring a positive and energetic atmosphere.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for our food and smoothies, assemble and serve fresh food and smoothies to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards.
  • Cafe Maintenance: Clean and organize kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
  • Point of Sale: Operate the register, taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer.
  • Safety and Security: Follow all safety and security policies set by the brand.
Requirements
  • Legally Eligible: Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.
  • Physical Demands: Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift, bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, and constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
Working Conditions
  • Shifts and Hours: Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary, with some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours.
  • Uniform and Hygiene: Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift.
