Job Title: RN Weekend Supervisor

Arvin Post Acute, a reputable skilled nursing facility in Arvin, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to oversee weekend clinical operations. This leadership role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for working in a skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Oversee patient care plans, assessments, and treatment processes, ensuring they are properly implemented and documented.
  • Act as the primary clinical resource for staff, addressing any clinical issues, emergencies, or concerns.
  • Monitor and enforce infection control policies and safety protocols.
  • Facilitate communication between nursing staff, residents, families, and medical professionals.
  • Ensure that all nursing activities adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff training, development, and performance rounds to monitor the quality of care and ensure that residents' needs are being met.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all clinical activities.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar healthcare environment.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, particularly those relating to skilled nursing facilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
Working Hours and Benefits:
