Our state-of-the-art facility in Missouri City, TX, spans 40,000 square feet and is dedicated to the production and distribution of 3D printing filament across North America.
Role Summary:
The Quality Coordinator collaborates with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure comprehensive documentation of employee training and effective communication of policy and procedural updates. This role also plays a crucial part in onboarding new employees, focusing on training and assessing their competency in processes. Furthermore, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for conducting audits of processes and equipment to verify compliance with quality standards and ensure accurate documentation practices.
As our manufacturing operations run continuously, the Quality Coordinator is expected to work from 3 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Friday, to maintain seamless communication and coverage across all production shifts.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly
The Quality Coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and impart knowledge of processes and equipment to train team members.
- Perform audits on processes and equipment to confirm stability and adherence to standards.
- Effectively communicate updates in the Quality Management System (QMS) to all employees across shifts.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.
- Exercise stop work authority to halt operations if unsafe conditions are detected.
- Identify and suggest areas for improvement.
Expectations:
- Availability for 8-hour shifts from 3 PM to 12 AM, Monday to Friday.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Engagement in physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching during shifts.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Openness to learning and sharing knowledge with others.
- Commitment to embracing the core values of the organization.
- No travel is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Mandarin Chinese, are advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
