About the Role

Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time retail sales associate at our Burlingame location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-driven and flexible with working various tasks from day to day.

Essential Functions
  • Process sales at the register.
  • Scan items accurately and efficiently; ability to properly identify produce items.
  • Handle money.
  • Bag groceries for customers and provide carry-out service if needed.
  • Retrieve baskets and carts for the store.
  • Clean up and general housekeeping duties.
  • Give exceptional customer service and assist customers with any questions they may have.
  • Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items; give customers direction to product location throughout the store.
  • Restock inventory, conduct price checks, take 'return' products back to proper shelf locations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Detailed-oriented.
  • Ability to give exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to learn new technology.
  • A willingness to train/work in other areas of the store as needed.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Local candidates only.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 6 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
  • Please be aware that you may be required to wear Covid-19-related PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by Company Policy.

Pay range: $18.25/hour depending on industry experience.
