Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients during this critical period. Your expertise and empathy will help create a safe and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care during labor and delivery, including administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and assisting with deliveries.
  • Collaborate with our OB Hospitalist Group to ensure seamless care and support for our patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive experience.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kansas or Missouri.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
