Job Overview

Good Earth Markets is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and acknowledge each customer as they enter the store, be available to assist customers, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Cashiering: Ring up customers with friendliness and efficiency, process transactions accurately, and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas, including the sales floor, cash wrap, and restrooms.
  • Product Knowledge: Gain product knowledge and use it to help better assist customers, answer questions, and make recommendations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive and productive work environment, and support colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability: Part-time, Monday - Friday availability and ability to work any time on Saturdays.
  • Compensation: $10 - $12/hour, DOE.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills for providing change and some inventory management.
