Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Care Unit team at VCU Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence within our unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of our patients and families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in patient care
  • Assume leadership responsibilities, mentoring and guiding colleagues to achieve unit goals
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience, depending on role
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program
  • Certification in specialty area (if applicable)
