We are seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services.

The CVOR Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
• Pass instruments, sponges, and other equipment to the surgical team
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Assume care of specimens and pass off pump lines
• Restock supplies and maintain the operating room

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or LPN or on-the-job training with two years scrub experience in an OR setting
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required
