Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all production operations, from purchased and fabricated parts, meet the quality, integrity, and standards set by Soffa Electric Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of industrial control panels to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to perform assigned FAT tests and ensure that all panels tested meet customer and company standards.
  • Check wiring layout and labeling to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform technical guidance and support in response to production or customer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with UL and NEC Codes.
  • Identify root causes of quality problems and coordinate corrections or propose alternative solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associate's Degree is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • An understanding of electrical wiring and basic knowledge of standard wiring procedures.
