We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at Richmond University Medical Center, a 470+ bed teaching facility in Staten Island, NY. As a Per Diem Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for the medical management of patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX certification
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
- $250/hour W2 salary
- Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage
