Maintains cleanliness of equipment and assists in patient transport as required. Engages in various support tasks within the surgical department.
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a healthcare facility with 150 beds, catering to the rapidly expanding region of San Antonio. Our specialized services encompass orthopedic and surgical care, intensive care, women's health, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular services from diagnostics to open-heart surgery, a vascular lab, a sleep center, emergency care, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound management, rehabilitation, and more. The facility also features an Outpatient Imaging Center and three medical plazas, including one that hosts our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adheres to the OneCHRISTUS Competencies, demonstrating leadership qualities in various capacities.
• Conducts routine cleaning and maintenance of anesthesia machines and equipment within the operating room.
• Collaborates with Materials Management to ensure adequate inventory levels of anesthesia supplies and agents.
• Prepares and sanitizes equipment before and after surgical procedures.
• Provides assistance to anesthesiologists as required.
Qualifications:
A. Education/Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
B. Experience
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- BLS certification is required.
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician is preferred.
